Documenting how parking notices are being pursued on airport land

We are collecting details from PCN & Notice to Keeper letters connected to airport land, or land that may be subject to airport byelaws.

Our aim is to identify repeated wording or claims about keeper liability, and repeated enforcement patterns across operators and locations.

Single complaints are easy to dismiss. Structured evidence makes repeated practices easier to show.

Usually takes 2-3 minutes

What is the goal of this project

We are building a structured evidence project focused on repeated wording, repeated practices, and repeated enforement patterns across parking locations and operators.

This is not a casework or appeals service. It is a way to turn individual notice and letters into a clearer picture of how parking operators are wording and pursuing private parking charges on airport land.

When similar wording, similar liability claims, or similar follow-up letters appear across multiple cases, that is more useful than isolated anecdotes.

Submissions are reviewed and anonymised before being added to the evidence base.

What kinds of cases are relevant

Submit a case if the notice appears to relate to airport land, or land that may be subject to airport byelaws, especially where the letter mentions PoFA(Protections of Freedom Act), keeper liability, or later debt recovery.

Relevant cases

  • Notice to Keeper letters linked to airport land
  • Letters mentions PoFA(Protections of Freedom Act) or keeper liability
  • Cases followed by debt collector letters
  • Related correspondence showing how the case progressed

What not to include

  • Full name
  • Full postal address
  • Vehicle registration
  • Full notice or reference number in text boxes

What happens next

Submissions are reviewed privately. Useful information can then be added to an anonymised evidence dataset for later analysis and reporting.
