Privacy notice

This page explains what information may be collected through the submission form, why it is collected, and how it may be handled.

This project is designed to minimise personal data wherever possible

Who runs this project

This project is operated by Open Parking Data, an independent research project focused on understanding how private parking charges are issued and pursued on airport land. It is not affiliated with any parking operator, appeals service, or legal firm. The aim is to collect and analyse structured, anonymised information to identify patterns in wording, enforcement practices, and possible regulatory issues. If you have any questions about this project or how your data is handled, you can contact: info@openparking.uk

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to submit through the form. This may include location, operator, dates, wording taken from parking notices, optional supporting files, and an optional email address if you choose to provide one. Personal information is not published as part of the evidence dataset.

Why we collect it

We collect and process this information on the basis of legitimate interest, to identify patterns in private parking enforcement.

If you provide an email address, it will only be used in connection with your submission.
